About ME

My name is Andrea N. Witherspoon, and at my core, I’m someone who leads with heart. I’m a junior in college studying Human Services, and every step of this journey has confirmed what I’ve always felt deep down  I’m meant to help people heal, grow, and feel seen. Becoming a social worker isn’t just a career path for me; it’s a calling that aligns with who I am and the kind of impact I want to make in the world.

I’m passionate about creating safe, compassionate spaces where people can show up as their full selves. I believe in the power of empathy, patience, and genuine connection. Whether I’m in the classroom, volunteering, or supporting someone through a difficult moment, I try to show up with intention and understanding. My goal is to become the kind of advocate who not only helps people navigate challenges but also reminds them of their strength and worth.

Outside of my professional goals, I’m a creative soul who finds joy in the things that keep me grounded. I love beauty and hair artistry especially through my brand, Mane Angel, where I create custom wigs and explore styles that help people feel confident and transformed. I enjoy journaling, self‑care rituals, and anything that brings me peace and clarity. Music, photography, and capturing authentic moments are also big parts of who I am. These hobbies help me stay connected to myself while I pour into others.

Everything I do academically, personally, and spiritually is guided by my desire to uplift my community and make a meaningful difference. I’m growing, learning, and becoming the advocate I’ve always envisioned: someone who leads with love, stands for justice, and walks with purpose.
